Set of mountboard square and support
Complete set including both the mountboard square (code 229) and the square support (code 224S).
Includes both the passepartout bracket (code 229) and the bracket support (code 224S).
Explanation of the mountboard square
The mountboard square is used to trace the signs of the internal hole of the passepartout.
Insert a well-sharpened pencil into one of the holes in the millimeter scale and slide the square along a raised edge of the work surface, thus obtaining a line on the sheet. The operation must be repeated for the 4 sides.
Instead of the raised edge you can use the bracket support supplied by Rinaldin (code 224S).
It is also possible to use a metal ruler, for example rulers 2292, 2293, 2294 or rulers from Logan W3001 - L540 - L560.
If a metal rule is used, the passepartout must be placed against the edge of the rule. While one hand holds the ruler firmly in place, the other hand draws a line on the passepartout by sliding the pencil into a small hole in the square. The operation must be repeated on the 4 sides.
With this system it is possible to draw the marks of the cut also on octagonal and hexagonal passe-partouts and so on.
