Filmoplast adhesive tape can be removed with water or acetone. For this feature it is very suitable for conservative framing.
The Filmoplast tape is coupled to silicone paper which must be removed before use.
The application of Filmoplast tapes is facilitated by a practical box-dispenser. As the tape is pulled out, the protective silicone paper automatically peels off.
Filmoplast tape is available in 4 types:
• FILMOPLAST P (mm 20x 50 mt) - Code 682
Transparent and very thin. Adhesiveness is light in the beginning and progressively increases.
• FILMOPLAST P90 (mm 20x 50 mt) - Code 682P90
Less transparent and more consistent than Filmoplast P.
• FILMOPLAST P90 Plus (mm 20x 50 mt) - Code 682PLUS
It has a higher adhesive power than Filmoplast P90.
Not very transparent. Very light (50 grams per square meter).
It adheres tenaciously to rough and uneven surfaces.
Due to its flexibility it can be applied around angular surfaces or folded cards and cardboard. Suitable for fixing heavy paintings.
