White acrylic water bole - 1000 ml
The while water bole is ready to use. It is an alternative option for those who do not have enough time to prepare the traditional mixture of gesso and rabbit skin glue. Suitable for those who do not have the time to prepare it in the traditional way.
The traditional mixture of chalk and rabbit skin glue, however, remains cheap if it is prepared in large quantities.
The white water bole is good for both the water gilding and the gold size gilding. Suitable for small works.
If the white water bole is not sufficiently fluid for coating, it must be heated in bain-marie to reach the right fluidity.
The application must be made to the frame with the same rules as for the traditional gesso.
It is necessary to apply several coats at intervals of a few hours. After 24 hours it can be smoothed with fine abrasive, sandpaper or steel-wool.
