The imitation gold leaf in rolls is particularly suitable for the gilding of mouldings and in particular fillets of them.
The leaf is pressed against a tissue paper to facilitate the application to the frame.
The imitation gold leaf can not be burnished.
The leaf must be protected against tarnish, with a fixative varnish.
