With heat they lose rigidity and can be shaped according to the shape of the frame to which they are applied.
To fix the friezes to the frame you can use hot glue (code 631K) or silicone (code 654) or quick-setting vinyl glue (code 619). The latter solution seems to be the most suitable if you want a very solid adhesion.
