How to order
I have never bought from Rinaldin: what should I do to place an order ?
Before sending an order, we recommend that you prepare a "draft" of the order by manually writing the items to be purchased in the appropriate form that you can print by clicking here.
The order can be sent in various ways:
> By email. Our address is [email protected]. Alternatively, you can mail the order to the person in charge of your area. (see the Contact page).
Keep in mind that by email you could also send an attachment with the photo of the order.
> By fax. Our fax number is 045.990960
> By calling us. In this way you will be able to have all the clarifications and you will be able to speak in your own language. At Rinaldin we speak in Italian, English, French, German, Serbo-Croatian, Spanish, Russian, Romanian, Albanian, Arabic.
> By placing the order directly on this site. To get started, go to the home page and enter the first item in the search box. The rest will be explained as you go along.
A confirmation will be mailed within two working hours of receipt of the order.
In the confirmation you will find the stock availability of the items, the prices and quantity discounts, the accessory costs (transport and VAT) and the expected delivery date.
Can I come and collect the goods at your premises ?
Of course. We are located in San Martino Buon Albergo (10 km from the center of Verona).
If you come by motorway we are 5 minutes from the Verona Est exit.
The hours are: from 8.30 to 12.30 and from 14 to 18. Saturday closed.
Coming to our office you can check the material and avoid transport costs. There is ample possibility of parking and coffee offered by the company.
We recommend that you send your order in advance to allow us to prepare it and not make you wait.
Can I do a test order without sending it ?
Certainly.
In practice, it is a order quotation you can do yourself at any time.
To make a test order you must first look for the items that interest you and put them in your cart. At any time you can click on the cart icon to check the content and total amount of the order.
If you want to know the shipping cost you should also include your details with the address (if you are not already registered on the site). This will automatically calculate the cost of transport from Verona to your town.
If you want, you can also print the test order without sending it.
Can you ship abroad ?
Of course. We can ship anywhere in the world.
Do you have representatives ?
No, since many years we have adopted a direct sale policy without intermediaries.
Can you send samples ?
Regarding mouldings, you will find explanations in the chapter on mouldings.
For the other articles, we unfortunately have to answer that this is not possible.
Our catalog includes more than 10,000 items and therefore sending samples would be too heavy a financial burden.
Transport and delivery
When can I expect my delivery ?
Orders are delivered to the carrier normally within 8 working hours.
However, it is necessary to add the shipping time. For Europe this time is about 3/4 working days.
Is it possible to have the guarantee that the goods will arrive within a given day ?
No, unfortunately this is not possible. We can only guarantee that the goods will be delivered to the carrier within a certain time.
The email that is sent together with the invoice at the moment of delivery to the carrier points out the expected date of receiving the goods. The tracking number is also given to trace the location where your order is located at any moment.
Is it possible to receive the goods at a given time ? For example at 5 o'clock in the afternoon ?
Unfortunately this is not possible. What we can do is to point out in the delivery note (for the carrier) the information concerning the opening hours of the store and the weekly closing day.
My store is not visible from the street. What should I do ?
Carriers assume your premises are clearly marked on the road and are open during normal business hours.
If your address is not visible, you should provide an alternate destination address (for example, the address of a nearby store).
How much is transport cost ?
For the trasport we charge a fixed amount.
These are the freight costs that we charge for European countries (export custom fees included):
€ 35 - France, Germany, Austria
€ 37 - Belgium, Holland, Denmark, Luxembourg
€ 40 - Slovenia, Spain, Hungary, Finland
€ 55 - Czech Republic, Sweden, Portugal
€ 70 - Romania, Poland, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Croatia
€ 80 - Ireland, Corsica, Greece (excluding the islands)
€ 90 - Serbia, Bosnia-Herz., Montenegro, Macedonia, Kosovo, Albania
€ 100 - Great Britain, Switzerland
€ 110 - Iceland, Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia
€ 130 - Norway
The fixed cost of transport penalizes very small orders. It is therefore not recommended to place very small orders. Fixed transport, on the other hand, is an incentive for larger orders as it progressively reduces the incidence of transport on the total order.
For other countries we look for the best freight cost and include it in the order confirmation of the customer.
For small islands, historical centres and difficult locations there will be a surcharge.
The customer however can choose its own transporter and, in such a case, goods are sent ex-factory.
Terms of sales
Is there a minimum order ?
Yes. For European EEC countries the minimum is € 100 and for non-EEC countries is € 200.
For orders below the minimum an additional amount of € 8 is charged for handling costs.
Are prices fixed ?
Yes, the prices and quantity discounts are fixed.
In the case of a difference between published prices in the printed catalogue and those published on this site, the valid prices are those published on this site.
Are there quantity discounts ?
Yes. For most items, quantity discounts are available. Discounts are clearly highlighted, both in the printed catalogue and on the site.
Quantity discounts are automatically applied even if not required.
What are the payment methods ?
Normal payment methods are:
• Prepayment with bank transfer with 4% cash discount.
• Credit Card with 1% cash discount
• PayPal with cash 1% discount
For more details on payment methods click here.
Can I pay in currencies different from Euro ?
No. All payments must be made in Euro.
Complaints
If I find that an item is not suitable for my needs, can I return it ?
Often the customer thinks that an item is defective or not suitable for some use only for lack of familiarity with the article.
In these cases the best solution is to contact us and to expose the problem. In most cases, it is easy to solve the problem.
If we do not find the solution we can agree on the economic terms for possible return of the item.
By mistake I bought a wrong item. Can I give it back ?
The return is only possible if the customer pays the return freight and if the packaging is original so that the item can be resold.
Rinaldin will credit the price less 30% for handling expenses.
If the item has been ordered by mistake it is not right that Rinaldin suffers the economic damage.
In any case, authorization for return is required.
I have received damaged goods. What can I do ?
Make a note on the delivery note "Accepted conditionally" and also write the detailed description of the damage.
The carrier does not reimburse the damage if the description of the damage is too general.
The goods travel under the responsibility of the carrier and therefore damage must be reimbursed by the carrier and not by Rinaldin.
If you contact us immediately and mail a copy of the delivery note, we can help you ask the carrier for damages.
It would be very helpful to send us some photos of damaged packages and damaged items by email.
It is not advisable to reject the goods, unless the damage is significant.
Catalogues
Is a password needed in order to see the price of each item ?
No. After much hesitation and many consultations with our customers we came to the decision to publish the prices without asking for the password.
With this solution we intended to give greater importance to the ease of consultation by users.
Can I receive the printed catalogue ?
Of course. The 2025 catalogue has recently been printed and sent to regular customers. If you have not received it, you can request it.
In this site, however, you can examine and print the online catalogue that is constantly updated, both for items and prices.
How can I examine the online catalogue ?
The online catalogue is available on this site in two versions: browsable catalogue and fixed page catalogue.
The browsable catalogue is more suitable for quick consultation. To switch from one page to another just click the corner of the page. You can easily search for articles.
It is also possible to download the catalogue (i.e. upload it to your computer).
To open the browsable catalogue click here.
The fixed page catalogue is a little longer to examine, but it allows you to copy and paste the text.
To open the catalogue with fixed pages click here.
Is it possible to place an order directly from the online catalogue ?
Both with the browsable catalogue and with the fixed-page catalogue, it is possible to directly place the order. It's easy, it allows to save time and avoids transcription errors.
Follow these instructions:
• Open the catalogue page where the article is located.
• Click on the code of the item you want to order.
• A page will automatically open where you will see the item selected along with other items of the same subgroup.
• At this point you just enter the quantity in the cart by clicking on its icon.
Besides the English catalogue, do you have catalogues in other languages ?
Yes, we have catalogues in Italian, French, German, Croatian and Romanian. They are all available on this site.
Show room - Video - Courses - Privacy
Do you have a showroom for machines and equipment demonstration ?
Our show room is on this website.
Here you can find a demonstration video for each machine and every equipment.
The videos are very clear. They show all the details of the machines and explain their use.
To watch the videos, click here.
Can you provide us with explanations about framing procedures ?
For each equipment you will find an exhaustive tutorial video. For some groups of articles there are also series of videos that explain in detail all the processing procedures (for example the videos about gilding and the videos about conservation framing).
In addition, for each product there is a technical sheet.
Finally, the “Framer Manual" on this site contains several articles that deal with particular themes of the framer's job.
What we cannot do, unfortunately, is to answer to individual requests for further explanations (unless they are very brief). This would be too much demanding and time consuming.
For example, we recently received a mail asking how to gild an old chandelier. We sincerely apologize but cannot answer to these types of requests.
How much does it cost to start the business of framer ?
It is rather difficult to answer.
In the "Framer Manual" (which can be viewed freely on this website) there is an article entitled "How much does it cost to start?" that deals specifically with this topic. If you want to go directly to the article click here.
Do you have courses for beginners ?
Yes. Rinaldin organizes courses of three days for beginners.
The maximum number of partecipants is limited to 2 in order to better follow the individual preparation.
To view the detailed program of the courses, click here.
What are the privacy rules applied by Rinaldin ?
Privacy is very important to Rinaldin.
Privacy laws are strictly enforced.

FAQ concerning Mouldings
Is there a minimum order for mouldings ?
For the mouldings the minimum is:
12 meters per moulding whose price is lower than 5 euro.
6 meters per mouldings whose price is lower than 10 euro.
3 meters per mouldings whose price is bigger than 10 euro.
However, it is also possible to order a lower quantity of the minimum with a 20% price increase.
On this site the minimum quantity is detailed for each moulding.
Can you tell me how long the mouldings are ?
No, this is not possible. We can only grant that mouldings vary from 2,60 to 3 metres.
Mouldings normally are 3 metres long.
Can I order a precise quantity of mouldings ?
No, sorry, your order will be always adjusted and rounded off according to the packages of mouldings. If the quantity ordered is small, the difference could be considerable. For example an order of 25 metres can be rounded off to 20 or 30 metres.
Do you sell mitred mouldings (cut at 45°) ?
Yes. We can supply mitred mouldings through the Chop Service.
The price is obtained by increasing the moulding lenght price by 80%. It is also possible to order ready joint mouldings.
Click here for further information on the Chop Service.
What should I do if I receive defective mouldings ?
The quality of our mouldings is appreciated by our customers.
However, it can happen that some mouldings are defective. A certain percentage of defective mouldings (less than 5%) should be accepted by our customers. It would be too complicated for us to manage all claims, especially if they are little.
If you think you can accept these conditions we will be glad to be your supplier. All our customers are satisfied with the value for money of our mouldings and continue to send us repetitive orders.
We are always pleased, however, to receive from our customers reports of defects to allow us to remedy.
Can you send moulding samples ?
Of course, but we must point out that they are not free. You can order:
• Corner samples (15 cm side). Price € 0,50
In the catalogue (and on this site) there are complete samples series that are more convenient.
How do I find out which mouldings are no longer available ?
To see the list of the mouldings removed in the last two years, click here.
The list of deleted mouldings is useful for removing the samples.
The list is constantly updated in real time.
